News from Iraq:
Friends in Country tell me that the US Army has instigated a crash program
to equip the entire Iraqi military/police system with M-4s/16s (223), replacing
existing inventories of Kalashnikovs (7.62X39 and 5.45X39), many dating from
the 1950s.
New weapons will be purchased from manufacturers in the USA.
The Stoner System shows no signs of dying!
